Strawberry Jam Recipe
- Strawberry : 250 grams
- Jaggery or sugar : 1 and a 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice : 1 tbsp
Rinse and hull the strawberries.chop them finely, and then take the strawberries in a pan and add jaggery (or sugar) and lemon juice in it, mix it well and keep the pan on stove top on low to medium flame. Stir at intervals till the strawberries are softened and cooked. Reduce the flame and continue to simmer till the jam mixture starts thickening. Keep on stirring till the it thickens. Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the jam cool. Then transfer it in a small sterilized jar or bottle or a clean bowl.
