Raviprakash SS is a Bangalore-based photographer who shot to fame with his one magical shot titled ‘Pure Magic’ . One of Raviprakash’s clicks has been short-listed for People’s Choice award in wildlifephotographeroftheyear.com, which is considered as the Oscars for photography, his is the only nomination from India for this prestigious competition co-owned by BBC Worldwide and NaturalHistoryMuseum, London. People’s Choice award has been introduced for the first time by WPY on the occasion of the 50th year of the competition. ‘Pure magic’ features among 50 pictures shortlisted from 42,000-odd entries from around 96 countries.
