Nixie- The wearable drone
Nixie is a tiny wearable camera on a wrist band. Its straps unfold to create a quadcopter that flies and takes photos and videos, after that it comes back to you. It is a new wearable drone which uses motion-prediction algorithms and sensors. The device follow modes and has a 360-degree panorama. Nixie has won Intel’s ‘Make it wearable’ contest. It was Christoph Kohstall who developed the idea of a wearable drone with his friend Jelena Jovanovic, who happens to be a technical programmer at Google. Nixie can be used in tough situations where you cannot take a selfie. It lets you safely reattach it to your wrist after taking a snap.
