Kesar Kaju Burfi – Delectable Sweet Delicacy
- Cahewnuts : 500 gms
- Sugar : 300 gms
- Saffron : 1/2 tsp
- Orange colour : 1/4 tsp
Method :
Soak cashew nuts in water for about 3 hours, After that drain water and ground cashew nuts finely. In a pan, mix sugar and cashew nuts and roast on low heat by stirring constantly. Mix saffron and orange colour and roast till it is cooked. Place a butter paper on a rolling board and pour the mixture on it. Place another butter paper and sandwich the mixture between two paper. Roll it with rolling pin and remove the butter paper from top and cut the Kesar Burfi pieces.
