Jack fruit Halwa
- Finely diced jack fruit : 2 cups
- Sugar : 1 cup
- Ghee : 3 tablespoon
- Cardamom powder : little
1) Steam cook jack fruit pieces in pressure cooker till one whistle.Allow to cool and fry it with one table spoon of ghee for few minutes.Add sugar and keep stirring till halva consistency is reached.Add rest of the ghee,Cardamom powder at the end of before Removing from fire.
2) After Cooking jack fruit mash it slightly with wooden mashes.Mix thick coconut extract (1/4 cup) to grated jiggery ( 1 cup) and heat till it is dissolved.Strain to remove dirt and heat again with jack fruit pulp.Cook till halva consistency is reached.Add ghee at the end.
