How to save youselves from H1N1 ( Swine flu)
Swine flu epidemic is continuing to spread throughout the world. The Epidemic is caused by H1N1 virus.The media, NGO’s and government, across the world have been launching mass media campaigns to create awareness among the general public. The symptoms of swine flu includes fever, Cough, Body ache, Headache and sore throat, also accompanied by diarrheoa and vomitting.
In ayurveda, The swine flu is classified under a class of diseases called Sanni Paatha Jwara. It is basically triggered by vata, Pitta and Kapha. As a result the person affected with the epidemic loses his/her immunity power. Here are a few preventive tips:
1) Make a Decoction of 5 tulsi leaves, 4 Kali Mirch beads, 3 Clove buds, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Mix them in a glass of water and boil it well. Filter this decoction and add a teaspoon of honey and have this twice daily.
2) Mix 1 teaspoon of sitopaladi Churna with 1 teaspoon of honey and have it twice a day.
3) Drink a glass of boiled milk every night by adding 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder in it.
4) Have one teaspoon of chawanaprash twice a day
Avoid all kind of junk food like frozen, fried or extremely sour foods. Relax well.
