Diamond Biscuit
- Vanaspathi : 1 cup
- Crystal Sugar : 3/4 cup
- Milk : 3/4 cup
- Maida : enough to prepare the dough
- Oil and ghee to deep fry
- Salt : for taste
Method:
Rub vanaspathi, sugar and milk together in a broad bowl.Keep rubbing in circular motion till everything blends well and it becomes like butter (Complete Moisture should be absorbed).Add maida little by little till it holds and knead like a thick dough.Roll out into 1/4 inch thick chappathi and cut into small diamonds.Spread it on top of a paper for 5 to 20 minutes and then deep fry in oil till crisp and golden.
Note: Deep fry in reduced flame without disturbing much while frying turn once or twice in between for even frying.This biscuits mainly used to mix in the mixture.
