Daroji Sloth bear Sanctuary
Daroji Bear Sanctuary is located in Bellary district,Karnataka. It is spread over an area of 55.87 square km. The sanctuary was exclusively created for the preservation of Indian Sloth bears. It is about 50 km from Bellary and near to the World heritage site Hampi.Government of Karnataka declared 5,587.30 hectares of Bilikallu reserve forest as a Daroji Bear Sanctuary in October 1994. The area between Daroji in Sandur taluk and Ramasagar of Hospet Taluk is the place you can spot the Sloth Bears. The visiting hours is 6.00 am to 6.00 pm on all seven days.

How to reach :
Bangalore to Chitradurga is around 200 kms on NH-4, then to Hospet 135 Kms, on NH-13 and then to Kamalapura (12 Kms)-which is 10 Kms from the Sanctuary.
Nearest railway station is Hospet where trains from Bangalore and Hubli are accessible.
