Chocolate Cherry Cake – Enjoy the mouth-watering combination of chocolate and cherry.!
- Egg white : 6 nos
- Chocolate cake mix : 1 pkt
- Cherry pie mix : 21 oz
For Frosting :
- Egg white : 2 nos
- Sugar : 1 1/2 cup
- Cream of Tartar : 1/4 tsp
- Water : 1/3 cup
- Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp
Method :
Mix egg whites in a bowl and add chocolate cake mix and cherry pie filling to this. Grease a 9 inch by 13 inch pan and put a layer of flour on it. Pour the batter into the pan. In a preheated oven, bake the pan for 35 to 40 minutes. After baking, take it out from oven and let it cool. For frosting ,mix all the ingredients prepared for frosting and pour in a double boiler with a beater and beat it for a minute. After that place this over boiling water and again beat it for 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat and beat it for another 3 minutes on high speed and frost the cake with the mixture.
