Cherry Jam – Tasty ‘n’ delicious
- Cherries : 1/2 kg
- Sugar : 2 1/2 cups
- Water : 4 cups
- Cochineal color :
Wash cherries well and cook in water till it becomes tender. Pass through a sieve and add sugar and cook till the jam gets sticky. Remove from stove and add a few drops of cochineal colour. Cool and pour in a clean jar and cork it tightly. Store in an air tight container and serve it after one day.
