Capsicum Bhajji
- Small capsicums : 1/2 kg
- Bengal gram flour : 1 1/2 cups
- Rice flour : 1/2 cup
- Salt : 1 tbsp or to taste
- Red chilli powder : 1 tbsp
- Cooking soda : 2 pinches
- Oil to deep fry & garnishing
- Finely chopped onions : 1/2 cup
- Lemon : 1
- Salt and chilli powder : as per taste
Method
Make bhajji batter with gram flour,rice flour,salt,chilli powder and soda by mixing with just enough water. Dip whole capsicums in this and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.After removing from fire cut the capsicums in the centre with sharp knife. Stuff with onions,salt and chilli powder. Squeeze lemon and serve immediately with sweet chutney.
