- Fine Chiroti rava : 1 cup
- Bread slice : 7 pieces
- Salt : 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
- Red chilli powder : 1/4 teaspoon
- Oil to deep fry
Soak rava in just enough water for 1 hour. Remove brown crusts from bread slices. Put it in a mixie with dry grinding blade and powder it. Add this crumbs to soaked rava with salt and knead like a chappathi dough. prepare small balls and roll out like thin small chappathi.Take a small stainless steel cup, apply little oil to outer side.Keep it on top of chappathi and shape it like the cup by lifting the corners up on top of the vessel till 3/4th of the vessel height.slip the vessel gently into the hot oil.As it gets fried,the vessel will separate from the dough. Take it out with the help of tongs.When Canapes are fried, remove from oil and drain excess oil.Cool it to room temperature and store in air-tight container.serve with any desired fillings.
